General Electric Co (GE) achieved its lowered last quarter earnings target for 2008, but has warned of a tough year ahead in 2009.
GE Chief Executive Jeffrey Immelt has stated that he expects an “extremely difficult” year. Although investors may be concerned about lower returns as dividends are potentially cut and share values potentially decline, it appears for now that consumers can still benefit from GE Money financial products, such as GE personal loans.
