The celebrations of Australia Day seem a long time ago now. Australian banks continue to try and navigate their way through what is turning out to be a very tough financial year for the banks around the world.

It must be noted that in these tough times all banks, including the Australian Commonwealth Bank are enforcing strict credit card application guidelines before processing any credit cards. Be warned.
