Credit Unions have seen an upturn in interest during the past year, this is probably due to the perception that Credit Unions may be a safer pair of hands than the banks at the moment. The banks have received significantly worse press in recent times and thus many consumers are returning to the Credit Unions. This appears to be true in the US and in other parts of the world.
