There has been a rally on the British Sterling versus the US Dollar. This has apparently been a result of some increased confidence in the UK recovery. This may not last, but shows the investor how the exchange rate can still move significantly in short spaces of time.
Exchange rate movements present a very high risk investment opportunity to investors, which should only ever been considered after taking independent professional advice.
