Education costs continue to increase at a rate greater than inflation due to basic supply and demand economics. As the Governement pours dollars into education in the form of loans and grants and public education money it distorts demand and eliminates competition. Increasing demand in the absence of competition results in increased prices. You can see the same result in health care since the introduction of medicare.

I don't know how these payday loan sharks sleep at night. Unfortunately, we have to take the good with the bad in free enterprise. However, consumers retain the right to avoid these predatory businesses. The concept of supply and demand must carry the day with shams like payday loans and credit repair. If and when people refuse to be fleeced by these people, their operations will go away.

It used to be ample to possess a higher school diploma to acquire a good job. Today, a college diploma is almost vital for any kind of high paying occupation, sadly, college is rather expensive even when you decide to go to a state school.

If you don't want to find yourself paying two or three times as much interest as you intended to, make sure the credit card you're applying for has a fixed rate -- not an intro rate. If you have damaged credit, you're going to have to pay a higher rate. If a rate sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
